I've wanted something brighter than a flashlight for a while now, so I decided to try this, mostly because it is small.
The light output is excellent, and easily equivalent to a 100 watt household bulb. Flashlights will not be wnough for me again!
Of course, as with any lantern, it generates a fair amount of heat, so you can't use it where it might burn something, like in a tent.
It seems like the addition of a few pieces of wire would have helped in this
area, but you get what you pay for!
I thought the size would be better using propane, but I'm now thinking about buying a gas/coleman fueled lantern, since they burn longer and may weigh less than the Mighty-Lite with 1lb propane tank.
